The following guide will walk you through how and when to set up a Yay or Nay Campaign.
The Yay or Nay campaign allows you to elevate the fan experience by allowing users to personalize their Idols lineup. Fans can easily swipe to like or dislike, creating a tailored selection of their favourite idols. This campaign integrates idols with Spotify authentication, allowing you to better understand your audience.
When to use Yay or Nay:
There are many ways you can use the Yay or Nay campaign:
- Merchandise Drops: Let fans vote on the next t-shirt design, poster art, or limited-edition vinyl colour.
- Event Lineups: Allow fans to choose which artists they'd like to see at your upcoming show or event.
- Favourite Players: Have fans select their favourite players from your team.
We're outlining some campaign-specific details below. Follow this guide for more info on General Setup and other campaign basics.
Creating Idols
The Yay or Nay campaign uses Idols to create the list of items/players/artists you would like fans to go through. For detailed instructions on creating Idols and Idol labels, please consult the help guides provided below:
Configuration
In the Configuration section, you can define the minimum number of idols a user must interact with in your label before submitting their preferences. This is also where you select the idol label you've created.
Note: Yay or Nay campaigns allow fans a single, lifetime entry. Keep this in mind when designing your campaign, as each fan can only participate once.
Before publishing your campaign, be sure to review our Campaign Publishing Checklist for a smooth launch.
