The following guide will walk you through how to set up a UGC Contest engagement campaign.
UGC Contests allow you to easily gather user generated posts across Instagram, Facebook, & X (Twitter) while also allowing fans to upload their photos directly to your campaign as well. Collect fan posts, moderate and approve entries and collect fan information with an optional voting option. This engagement campaign is optimized for mobile and easy to embed on your website or screen display.
UGC Contest Set Up:
General Set Up
To begin, login to your Tradable Bits account, navigate to your desired Business>New Campaign>UGC Contest.
Take the time to thoroughly go through the General Setup section where you will determine your start and end dates, public name of your campaign, legal policies and entry form fields.
More information on General Setup and getting started here.
Configuration
Under the Configuration tab you can select a stream, content options, if you also want to allow fans to upload entries (instead of sharing on social) and if you'd like to display any entries on the landing page or not. For more information on how to connect your UGC Contest to a stream, use this guide here.
Entries
To manage and moderate content, navigate to your UGC Stream.
Share Settings
Control what image and message display when people share your campaign URL.
Miscellaneous
We recommend selecting a virtual domain for your campaign before publishing it. To do this, go to Miscellaneous>scroll down to Domain/Share/Namespace Customization section and select your preferred Domain from the Virtual Domain dropdown menu. If you'd like another virtual domain setup for your campaign, please follow this help guide and work with your Customer Success Manager to get this added to your account.
Publish
Congratulations, you have finished setting up UGC Contest, now all you need to do is publish it! You can do this by downloading the QR Code, or sharing the campaign URL. Spread the word across your marketing channels to encourage fans to participate.
Reporting
Navigate to the Reporting section to see real-time campaign stats and results by each fan that entered.
Stats
Use this section to keep track of entries, views, opt-ins and the number of new fans you are gaining access to. You can also see the top locations and highest traffic days over the course of your campaign.
Results
The "Results" section offers more in depth participant data. At any point in the campaign, you can also export your campaign data in a CSV file for visibility to your team. If your campaign is designed to have a winner, that can be auto-selected in this section as well.
