Howdy y’all, welcome to this month’s Product Roundup - where we dig into the newest tools for fan engagement, acquisition, data and analytics and fan activation. Over the summer, our dev team has been hard at work on quality of life improvements that will make your Tradable Bits experience a little smoother.
Grab your snorkel, let’s take a dive 🏊
A TL;DR
- You’ve got bots? We’ve got buffers: We’re introducing a new bot detection system to prevent spam entries
- Entry form goes 2X the speed: behind-the-scenes updates to our campaigns will make them faster to load, smoother to use and built to last (no visible change to fans)
- Invisible shield activates on huge spikes of activity: our Large Volume Handling feature, the Waitroom, automatically triggers when a large spike in entries is detected, so your campaigns won’t time out
- No wristband? No problem. AtVenu Rewards go QR: You can now distribute AtVenu rewards using a QR code. Check it out if you use AtVenu as your event POS!
- Search for custom fields at the campaign level: You can now dig into answers from fans for any custom field set at the campaign level, not just the global level
- We’ve added an Advanced HTML section to our rich text editor inside campaigns
You’ve got bots? We’ve got buffers.
Spot a bot. Stop a bot.
We’re introducing a new bot detection system across all Tradable Bits campaigns that is smarter, stricter and turned on with just a toggle. We now offer three levels of campaign protection - all under the Access Restrictions tab in campaign setup:
- No Protection: Default mode. This mode is ideal for in-venue kiosks, staff-assisted entries or in-venue QR where traffic to the campaign is controlled and the URL isn’t publicly known
- Spam Protection (Level 1): This mode blocks obvious spammers - high-frequency entries from the same IP address will be rejected with a clear error message. Do not use spam protection in-venue.
- Bot Protection (Level 2): This is the new full anti-bot algorithm. When you turn on this toggle, we analyze entry behaviour in real-time to block suspicious attempts without disrupting real fans.
To learn more about bot protection and how to turn it on for your campaigns, check out this guide!
Entry form goes 2X the speed.
New engine under the hood.

Here’s a quick update from behind the scenes: we’ve rebuilt the way that Entry Form works under the hood - and it means faster loads, smoother transitions and a longer shelf life for your campaigns.
Nothing changes in your fan flow or setup, but if you’re using custom tracking or code that refers to the old /thank_you/ page URL, you’ll want to check your logic.
This update is part of a bigger push to modernize how all campaigns load and perform. We will be slowly rolling out back-end updates across all 40+ engagement campaign types in the coming weeks.
What to check:
☑️ No changes to Entry Form setup or UI
☑️ No impact to the fan experience
⚠️ Check your custom JS and CSS if:
- You rely on page routes (like /thank_you/)
- You’ve added custom code for pixel fires on the thank you page
- You’ve written logic that assumes a full-page redirect.
If you spot something weird: contact support@tradablebits.com with details about what is expected vs what is happening.

Invisible shield activates on huge spikes of activity.
The waitroom triggers automatically at high volumes of entries

Our Large Volume Handling feature, the Waitroom, automatically triggers when a large spike in entries is detected → even if it was toggled off on campaign setup. That means fans see a waiting queue instead of a timeout error, so fans can still participate in the campaign.
What it means for you:
- No setup needed
- No campaign crashes
- Better fan experience during traffic spikes
This change is all part of making your campaigns run smoother, even when you go viral
No wristband? No problem. AtVenu Rewards go QR
You can now deliver AtVenu rewards without wristbands.

We just launched QR code delivery for all AtVenu-integrated campaigns - so you can:
- Use the campaign, even if your event doesn’t have wristbands
- Reward any fan at any AtVenu POS system on the grounds
- Scale Incentivize with AtVenu campaigns to more shows and setups.
Unlocking QR delivery for Incentivize with AtVenu is one step closer to our goal of more flexible, sponsor-friendly rewarding at live events - across more partners, more venues and more fans.
It’s live now - and yes, it works within our Loyalty Portal for beta partners too

Search for custom fields at the campaign level
Your campaign data - new and old - just got way more usable

In the FanCRM you can now search custom fields by campaign, even if those fields weren’t marked as global. So, whether it’s fans answering their “fav team” in a dream-team campaign. “Preferred artist” or “first-time-attendee,” you can find it, and then add it to a segment or workflow. Retroactively.
Where to find it:
- Go to FanCRM Search
- Click on the +Campaigns parameters
- At the bottom, you will see the field “Campaign Specific Custom Field Key” and “Campaign Specific Custom Field Values”
Try it out in FanCRM now
We’ve added an Advanced HTML section
Advanced HTML support for campaign text is here!

You can now take fuller control of your campaign content with our new Advanced HTML section in the rich text editor.
What you can do with it:
- Drop in complex code (widgets, styled blocks, etc) to your desire
- Skip the default editor’s tag restrictions
- Render things exactly how you want them to look
Keep using the standard editor for standard text edit - but if you want to go custom, switch to advanced.
We want to hear from you: Have any thoughts, questions or queries about the new rich text editor? Ping support@tradablebits.com!
That’s it for this month!
