Here is a quick guide on how and when to set up a Buyer Referral campaign.
Our incentive-based Buyer Referral campaign offers a robust solution for leveraging fan advocacy at your live events. Double the rewards for your fans and double your reach to new ticket-buyers!
This system enables the creation of referral links that fans can share with their networks. When a purchase is made through a referral link, the system accurately identifies the originating Fan ID and automatically distributes designated rewards to both the referring fan and the referred purchaser.
This campaign requires use of RFID wristbands. If your event does not support RFID wristbands, check out our Incentivize with Square campaign or talk to your Customer Success Manager to explore alternate options.
Rewards are applied directly to the fans' RFID wristbands, providing a seamless redemption experience at participating onsite vendors equipped with Best Ring or atVenu POS systems.
The use of Best Ring or atVenu POS systems is required for redemption.
Campaign Set Up:
Before you begin, you will need to set up your own Best Ring or atVenu accounts.

Configuration:
Now that you have set up your campaign basics, there are some configuration settings that are key to the function of this campaign.
Event Setup:
You will need to set up a Performance and link a ticket URL (link where fans can purchase a ticket)
Note: Ticket URL must be populated in performances
Rewards:
Here you can assign the rewards that you want to give to both the referrer and the referee. They can be the same or different
Email Setup:
This is where you configure the email that alerts the referrer that their referral was successfully redeemed at a POS.
