Here's a quick explainer on the cookie warning that pops up on your live campaigns.
Say hello to a new and improved cookie warning that ‘checks all the boxes’ for a GDPR and consent-based opt-in. This opt-in gives fans the ability to choose how they want to share their data and be tracked.
The opt-in is made up of two distinct sections.
-
The first is our regular Tradable Bits cookie warning. This informs fans that by entering the campaign, they’re agreeing to have a cookie track their campaign session.
-
The second is a consent form for any marketing or analytics pixels associated with your account. This includes things like your Facebook Ad pixel or your Google Analytics token. If fans choose to “Decline” they will no longer be tracked for marketing purposes.
Customization:
Depending on where your company is located, there may be different Privacy Regulations that apply to you. By default, all opt-in settings that comply with the GDPR are applied to your campaign’s cookie warning.
While we strongly recommend using our default settings, you have the ability to customize your cookie settings in the miscellaneous section of Campaign setup
To customize your cookie warning colours, you can do so in the Design tab of the campaigns under Cookie Warning. Here you can customize the background colour, the font colour, button colours and link colours.
How to by-pass the Tradable Bits Cookie Warning:
