How do I set up a Personality Quiz campaign?

The following guide will walk you through how to set up your first Personality Quiz Campaign.

The Personality Quiz campaign is a great way to engage fans with fun personality quizzes that provide insight into their unique identities. Match fans with ideal products, destinations or teams and collect qualitative data and tag fans based on their selection and results.

When to use Personality Quiz campaign

The Personality Quiz campaign offers a variety of use cases:

• connect fans with players and artists who align with their preferences and behaviours
• gain insights into what motivates fans to purchase tickets to their favourite events
• develop personas and tag fans based on shared characteristics

Configuration

Under Configuration, you can your Main Quiz Question and choose whether you'd like to randomize the question options order.

Content

You can set up your personality quiz content in two ways. First, navigate to the Content tab in the left-hand menu.

Option 1: Personality Quiz Matrix

When you first arrive to the Content tab, you'll find the option to populate a personality quiz matrix.

Click "+ New Personality Type" to add a new personality, or "+ New Question" to add a new question.

If you prefer to structure your quiz by first outlining the personality types before creating questions and answers, click "Skip" to proceed to the next page.

Option 2: Personality Quiz Table

If you choose to skip, you'll be taken to the Personality Quiz setup table, where you can customize your questions, answers, and personality types.

Questions & Answers

To add a new question:

1. Click + Add Question.

2. Fill out the following fields:

   • Question: Enter the text of your question.

   • Answer Type: Choose between Text or Image.

   • Selection Limit: Set how many answers a user can select.

   • Answers: Add possible answers and assign each one to a corresponding personality type.

3. Click "Save" to keep your changes

Personality Types

To add a new personality type

1. Click + Add Personality Type
2. Fill out the following fields
   • Title (required)
   • Result Image
   • Result Description
   • Result CRM Tag
3. Click "Save" to keep your changes

How the Personality Quiz Works

Fans will be matched to a personality type, based on their answers which correspond to a personality type. 

1. Fan Answer Questions
   Fans answer a set of questions with text or image options.

2. Select Options
   Each question allows one or more answer selections.

3. Personality Matching
   Each answer is linked to a personality type. Selections add points to those types.

4. Get Results
   The personality type with the highest score is shown as the result.
