# Localize Language: How do I change the form field text in an Engagement Campaign?
## A quick guide on how to "localize language," i.e. change form field text, descriptions and more in your campaigns.
### Overview
The **Localize Language settings** are not only for adding other language translations to your campaign. They are also where you can customize and change the default field titles, opt-in language and other wording in your engagement campaign. The Localize Language settings are designed for editing the text and phrasing of entry form fields to align with your brand guidelines. Keep in mind that the text changes you make in Localize Language settings will only affect the front-end of your engagement campaign. This means all the fields will continue to work the same, but will appear with different text shown to your fans.
### How to update your Localize Language settings
1\. Navigate to your desired **Campaign** \> **Design** \> **Localize Language**

2\. On the right-side menu, choose the **Language** section you'd like to update

3\. A dropdown menu will display categories of fields; click your desired category
**Note:** Some campaigns will also show a **Campaign Specific** category here. For example, for a [**Spin to Win campaign**](https://resources.tradablebits.com/support/spin-to-win?hsLang=en), the Campaign Specific section allows you to customize text for things like the "out of prizes" messaging, or the "spin the wheel instructions" text.
4\. Here, we've selected **Entry Form**, and a dropdown appears showing a preview of the current text/phrasing for each field that can be included in your entry form:
5\. Click into your chosen entry form field and add your desired text/phrasing. For demonstration purposes, let's choose the birth\_date\_text field and change it to say "Birthday" instead of the default text "Birth Date"
6\. Click **Save** in the top right corner. When you view your campaign, the fields should have changed in appearance.
Here's how the form field looked before we made the edit:
And this is what it looks like after we changed the text to Birthday in the Localize Language settings:
Please note that changes may take a moment to appear, so refresh your page if needed.
### Editing text across your campaigns
In the Localize Language settings, you can customize far more than just the entry form fields. Here, you can also change things like how your [bonus actions](https://resources.tradablebits.com/support/sweepstakes-guide-extra-entries?hsLang=en) text appears, the legal text wording, or even the text that guides you through a [Horoscope campaign](https://resources.tradablebits.com/support/how-do-i-set-up-a-horoscope-campaign?hsLang=en) as highlighted below!
A good rule of thumb is that **if you see some text in your campaign, it can probably be edited in Localize Language settings**. If you aren't sure which section that text can be found in, open the settings and do a search using Cmd+F or Ctrl+F with a keyword from the text you want to change. ### Business-Level Settings
When you configure the Localize Languagesettings**[at the business level,](https://resources.tradablebits.com/support/default-business-settings?hsLang=en)** your text defaults (for buttons, forms, opt-ins, etc.) will automatically apply to **any new campaigns** you create in the Business moving forward.
If you'd like to apply new language or wording to existing campaigns, open each campaign and manually update the Localize Language settings under "Design" as we've walked you through above.
