How to create a new subscription/opt-in

This guide outlines how to create and implement a subscription/opt-in field.

Custom subscription objects allow you to capture specific Email or SMS opt-ins directly through your campaign entry forms. Once collected, you can utilise the FanCRM Search tool to filter your audience by these subscription fields, ensuring you can identify and export the exact lists you need.

Creating a subscription/opt-in

  1. From your Tradable Bits Homepage, go to the Top Navigation Bar, and navigate to FanCRM > Subscriptions/Opt-ins.

  1. Click + New Subscription to add a new subscription object 
  2. Fill in the required fields:
  • Subscription Key: Name of the subscription object 

  • Subscription Type: Email, SMS or combined subscriber list 

  • Subscription Object: Business or Idol

 

How to add to a Subscription field to an Engagement Campaign

  1. Open your campaign and navigate to General Setup > Entry Form Fields 

  2. Click + Additional Fields, and Add Subscription Field, and you can select your desired subscription object. 

Note: You can add multiple opt-ins to a specific business.

 

How to export subscriptions/opt-ins in the FanCRM

  1. From your Tradable Bits Homepage, go to the Top Navigation Bar, and navigate to FanCRM > Search.

  2. Open the Campaign Activity > Campaigns parameter dropdown.

  3. Filter using the CRM Subscriptions field. 
  4. Click Search 
  5. Click + New Export and select to either export immediately or schedule a future or recurring export.
  6. Select CSV or have your export drive to an existing outgoing integration.

  7. Click Export, and that's it! 

This will allow you to search and estimate the number of fans who have opted in to receive
email and/or SMS communications from a specific business or idol.
