How do I turn on draft mode while building my campaigns?

Learn how and when to change the Draft mode status of your engagement campaigns.

What is Draft Mode?

Tradable Bits' campaigns now support 4 different modes. Depending on your Tradable Bits account setup, your options may differ.

  • Draft Mode
  • Pending Approval (only if you have legal approval necessary validated on your account)
  • Unapproved (only if you have legal approval necessary validated on your account)
  • Approved

Draft Mode

Use this mode when you are editing and testing your campaign.

Draft mode features:

  1. Automatically deletes data every 24 hours. This is so that your test data does not impact your real fan results.
  2. Allows you to set up a password to gate your campaign to authorized users only. This password is automatically lifted as soon as you set your campaign to “Approved” mode.
  3. Adds a header bar that says “This campaign is still in draft” when viewing your campaign on its microsite.

Please note: If you share a draft campaign URL publicly, fans will still be able to see the campaign, unless you add a password to gate it.

Approved Mode

This is the default for all campaigns while you are building them. This “Approved” state is what you should use when you launch your campaign live.

Pending Approval

If you have “legal approval necessary” validated on your account, all campaigns will require approval from your legal team, before they can be put into a live state. This “pending approval” mode means that you’ve set up your campaign the way you’d like, and have sent it to the user on your account marked as the “Legal user.” For more information, reach out to your customer success team.

Unapproved

If you have “legal approval necessary” validated on your account, this is the state where legal does NOT approve your campaign. This state exists to inform your team that adjustments to the campaign need to be made.

When should you use Draft Mode?

When you are building out and testing your campaign before the live launch.
