How do I set up a Survey campaign?

Here's a quick step by step guide to set up a Survey Campaign.

Digging Deeper into Fan-Feedback

Exert more control over your surveys and encourage specific, actionable fan-feedback.

The additional features added to Survey Campaign will empower your team to extract actionable insights from complex questions, map out a clear survey, and streamline the fan-journey to survey completion.

The What:

Survey campaign is now built to support branch style surveys where you can send fans directly to a a specific follow-up question based on their answer and carve out different paths for your fans to get even more in-depth with your audience and their preferences. 

The Why:

Simplifying your Journey to “Understanding Your Fans”

How do you get enough information and the right information from your fans without asking for too much? You create a solid user-journey. We expanded on the functionality of "follow-up questions" to make it do more for you. Previously, a follow up question was tied to one question. Now, follow-up questions are their own independent questions that you get to drive fans to from whichever questions you like and create unlimited follow-ups based on fan answers.  

The Where:

Head to your Tradable Bits Manage Centre and click on Campaigns > New Campaign > Survey to get started.

The How:

General Set-Up

As with all campaigns, set up the following:

  • Campaign Name + Meta Title
  • Start & End Time
  • Authentication (Where you can set a social-login option)
  • Entry Form Fields (Where you can add your custom fields)
  • Legal (Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Official Rules)

Survey Configuration:

You will configure all questions and answers within the Content tab. 

Set Up Survey Questions and Answers:

  1. Go to the Content tab
  2. Click Add Question 
  3. Choose your Question Type
  4. Select where you want to send your fans to after this question
  5. Input your question, and add a image (optional)
  6. Input your answer (s)

Let's walk through an example of the Branch Survey functionality: 

Here we are surveying sports fans in our audience to learn more about teams they support and their level of fan engagement including purchasing behaviour. 

 

1. We begin by clicking Add Question

 

2. Our first question is "What is your favourite sport to watch?" and including three popular sports as possible Text Choice answers

 

3. Continue creating all questions

All questions need to be created before you can assign branch destinations. When you click into the Send Fan To field, a dropdown menu will display all existing questions and you can only select a destination from existing questions in this menu

 

4. Assign Send Fan To destination questions

 

5. After making their selection, fans will proceed into a specific branch of questions that differ from the options for other sports

 

6. For example, any fans that select basketball as their answer for Question 1 will skip the following questions and be sent to Question 4 "What is your favourite NBA team?, regardless of the question number order

7. You can quickly see where your branches are going by hovering on a branch icon in your question list

 

8. If you don't need to use the branch functionality, simply create your questions and ensure they are all set to send fans to Next Question and they will move through the question sequence in order without any branching

 

That's the branch functionality!

Finish "Set-Up"

  • Landing Page
  • Thank You Page
  • Contest Over Page
  • Share Settings
  • Theme Customization
  • Access Restrictions
  • Miscellaneous
  • Go to Localize Language to change your “Opt-In” language. [i.e. “allow me to be contacted by SMS, etc.]

Publish Your Campaign

Go to the “Publish” Tab, and choose how you want to display your campaign.
