How do I set up a Square Integration?

This guide will walk you through how to connect your Square account to Tradable Bits to ingest your POS data.

We're big fans of the Square integration for not only building out your database with POS and creating fan incentive opportunities but also because it is incredibly easy to set up.

 

Follow along below to get your Square integration up and running in Tradable Bits. You will need:

  • Access to your Square Account
  • Access to your Tradable Bits Account
     

Part 1: Setting up your Square + Tradable Bits Integration

  1. Go to the Integrations section of your account, and choose the “Incoming Integrations” tab

 

2.   Click “+New” and choose “Square” from the drop-down


 

3.  Label your Customer DSN. This field is for internal labelling purposes and can be any label your team chooses. We recommend labelling it by your Square Store Name, or Merchant Name. Then, click Save

 

4. Once created, to connect your Square account, click the Re-Authenticate button. This will push you to Square's site and will prompt you to Sign in to authenticate your account. Sign in to automatically link your Square and Tradable Bits accounts

 

5. Test your integration. To check whether you are connected, go back to your Tradable Bits  Integrations page, and click the “test integration button.” If your account is properly connected, you will see a confirmation message
