This guide will walk you through how to set up your Shopify Integration with Tradable Bits.
This guide will address 3 main sections:
- Shopify side Setup
- Tradable Bits side Integration Setup
- Where you can use your integration in the Tradable Bits Platform
Part 1: Shopify Setup
Set up a Tradable Bits Private App
- Log-in to your Shopify store. Click on Apps > App and sales channel settings
2. Click on Develop Apps > Create an App
3. Give your app a name. We recommend using Tradable Bits as your app name
4. Click on Configure Admin API Scopes
For Example:
- Read products, variants and collections
- Read inventory of products and their variants
- Read and modify customer details
- Read and modify checkouts
6. As soon as you save your Admin API Scopes, you will be given an Admin API Access Token
This access token is only viewable ONCE when you first configure your App. Make sure you note this token down as soon as you reveal it as you will not be able to see it again.
7. Note down your API Key and API Secret as well, then give all three over to your Customer Success Manager
8. Note the domain name for the store. Go to Shopify Settings > Domains and copy your domain
App Details Summary
Private App Name: Tradable Bits
Configure Admin API Scopes: Filter and select all of the scopes that have to do with Orders, Customers, Products and Inventory.
Give the following to your partner success team: API Key, API Secret, Admin API Access Token
Please ensure that all products in your Shopify store have an SKU. Tradable Bits will not ingest order data for products without an SKU.
Part 2: Tradable Bits Setup
Your Tradable Bits Customer Success Manager will handle this step, but they will require the information that you have collected in steps 1-8 of Part 1. Provide your Customer Success Manager with the following information:
- API Key
- Shared Secret
- Admin API Access token
- Domain Name
Part 3: Where you can use your integration in the Tradable Bits Platform
You can use your Tradable Bits x Shopify integrations in the following ways:
- Within the Sales Section: Use the reporting section to monitor merch sales coming in from Shopify.
- FanCRM: Create filters/audiences containing fans who have purchased through your Shopify.
- As a shopable merch tab within FanXP
Congrats! You’re all set up with your Shopify integration, and ready to increase those merchandise conversions.
