# How do I configure the widgets in Canvas?
## Canvas lets you build simple, beautiful drag-and-drop-style engagement campaigns. If you'd would like some extra detail about each of the widgets in the Design tab, this guide is for you.
#### *Please note that Canvas is currently in beta and may not yet be available in your account. ### **Basic Widgets**
#### **Text Block**
- **Purpose:** Add quick, unformatted headlines or body copy.
- **How to use:**
1. Drag the **Text Block** widget from the left panel onto your campaign canvas.
2. Click directly on the text box on the canvas to type your text inline.
3. Use the right-hand properties sidebar to adjust basic spacing or layout styling if needed.
#### **Rich Text Block**
- **Purpose:** Add fully formatted copy with custom heading sizes, bolding, hyperlinks, and bulleted lists.
- **How to use:**
1. Drag the **Rich Text Block** onto the canvas.
2. Click into the box to open the text editor toolbar.
3. Highlight your text to apply formatting options like headers (H1, H2, H3), bullet points, text alignment, or hyperlinks.

### **Media Widgets**
#### **Image**
- **Purpose:** Display promotional banners, brand logos, or background visuals.
- **How to use:**
1. Drag the **Image** widget onto the canvas.
2. Open the right-hand properties panel and click to upload or enter the URL to your image file.
3. Adjust alignment, sizing, and add alt text within the properties settings.

#### **Video Embed**
- **Purpose:** Showcase video content (such as YouTube clips or promos) directly on the page.
- **How to use:**
1. Drag the **Video Embed** widget onto the canvas.
2. Paste your media URL into the **Video URL** field in the right sidebar.
3. Select your preferred display aspect ratio (e.g., 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 9:16) and set a minimum height to optimize mobile and desktop viewing.
#### **Song Embed**
- **Purpose:** Stream audio tracks or album previews directly within your campaign.
- **How to use:**
1. Drag the **Song Embed** widget onto the canvas.
2. Select your platform source (Spotify, Weezer, or Apple Music) and paste the track or album URL into the **URL** field in the right properties panel.
### Social Widgets
##### **Social Links**
- **Purpose:** Direct fans to your official profiles across various social media networks.
- **How to use:**
1. Drag the **Social Links** widget onto the canvas.
2. In the right-hand properties panel, add the profile URLs for the networks you want to display (such as Instagram, X, TikTok, or YouTube), or auto-populate these from your Business Settings defaults.
3. Customize how the label text appears.
##### **Share Button**
- **Purpose:** Let participants instantly share your campaign link on their own social feeds.
- **How to use:**
1. Drag the **Share Button** widget onto the canvas.
2. Use the properties panel to edit button label text or toggle specific sharing channels on or off (e.g., Facebook, X/Twitter, Email, Copy Link).
3. Choose your layout style, such as full buttons or icon-only views.

##### **Form Container**
- **Purpose:** Capture participant data, entries, and marketing consent, mapping entries directly into Fan CRM profiles.
- **How to use:**
1. Drag the **Form Container** onto the canvas to load default fields like **Email**, **First Name**, and **Last Name**.
2. Add or configure custom fields (such as text boxes or checkboxes for an **Email Subscribe** opt-in) via the right-hand panel.
3. Customize the submit button text and verify that field mapping is active to ensure data flows straight into your CRM upon submission.
