How to export an Opt-in list

This article outlines how you can export a list of fans who have opted in to receive marketing communication from you.

On your engagement campaign entry form, entrants decide if they want to opt-in for future contact by you. If someone opts-in, you have legal permission to add them to your newsletter or to email them directly. 

Email Opt-In:

1) From your Manage Centre, go to Fan CRM

2) Click Search

3) Select General> Fan Metrics from the menu on the right hand side

4) Under the Limit Values Positive field select Only Subscribed for email opt-in. This will isolate fans who have opted in to email communication on the account level. Please note: If you had a 'Business optin' checkbox on your form, you would need to select Campaign Activity>Businesses and toggle on "search only for explicit opt-ins to Business"

5) Return to the right hand menu and select Campaign Activity and choose to pull subscribers from either the Business or Campaign level

6) Make your selections and populate additional field based on Step 5 

7) Click Search

8) Click New Export and select to either export immediately or schedule a future or recurring export

9) Select CSV or have your export drive to an existing outgoing integration

10) Hit Export and that's it! 

SMS Opt-In: 

1) From your Manage Centre, go to Fan CRM

2) Click Search

3) Select General> Fan Metrics from the menu on the right hand side

4) Under the Limit Values Positive field select Only Phone Subscribed 

5) Return to the right hand menu and select Campaign Activity and choose to pull subscribers from either the Business or Campaign level

6) Make your selections and populate additional field based on Step 5 

7) Click Search

8) Click New Export and select to either export immediately or schedule a future or recurring export

9) Select CSV or have your export drive to an existing outgoing integration

10) Hit Export and that's it!
