How is Tradable Bits Data Handled?

Here's a quick guide covering how and where Tradable Bits' data is handled and stored.

Proper data handling is a paramount concern at Tradable Bits and we empower our partners to have a deeper understanding of how the data in their accounts is handled.

Security Measures:

Tradable Bits is ISO/IEC 27001 Certified.

ISO/IEC 27001 is the world's best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS). It defines requirements an ISMS must meet. Achieving ISO 27001 certification means that we have implemented a robust Information Security Management System (ISMS), encompassing a comprehensive approach to managing risks and continuously improving our security practices. This includes establishing policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks, address security threats, and maintain a secure environment for both our employees and clients.

Employee Use:

All Tradable Bits employees who will process personal data under are a contractual duty of confidentiality and are required to complete a comprehensive security training and agree to a Code of Conduct pertaining to proper handling of data.

Regulatory Compliance:

Tradable Bits adheres to and is compliant with  GDPR, COPPA and PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act).

Collection of Children's Data:

Tradable Bits adheres to a number of global security protocols, including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule). As part of this, we don't create a fan profile, or store the data of minors under the age of 13. There isn't any option for this policy to be altered as it applies to our software across all regions in which we operate. No campaign entries will be accepted where a Date of Birth field fails this COPPA compliance.

Data Storage & Use:

Storage Location:

While Tradable Bits has hundreds of global partners, all data is stored in Canada, where the company is headquartered.

Use of De-Identified Data:

This is aggregated data that we utilize to improve our algorithms. This data is built byanonymizing the first-party data that is collected by partners. While we no longer have rights to collect or store any first-party data after the Term of the Agreement, once we anonymize the data to build the “De-Identified Data” set, we no longer have the ability to track it back to which partner it came back from. As a result, we cannot remove the de-identified data that was built using a particular partners’ data. Tradable Bits maintains perpetual rights to this data which is purely used to improve our algorithm and identify underlying trends to improve the abilities of our platform.
