How do I create a Bingo Campaign?

Here's a quick guide to help you set up a Bingo campaign to engage with your fans.

The Bingo campaign is a great way to drive real-time engagement. It turns passive fans into active participants by making the experience a fun game, all while allowing you to collect valuable first-party data.

Pistons Bingo Example

When to use Bingo:

  • Live Sports: Capitalize on the audience's high engagement and turn their anticipation for key plays into an interactive game.
  • Live Broadcasts & Award Shows: These events are perfect as they are filled with well-known tropes and signature moments that fans love to spot.

We're outlining some campaign-specific details below. Follow this guide for more info on General Setup and other campaign basics.

  • Add Tile Content: You have two options:

    • Text: Type in your tile names (one per line, max 40 characters).

    • Images: Upload your tile images instead of using text.

Bingo > Content > Control Panel Setup

Moderating the Control Panel

Once you have completed this section, the full control panel will be revealed. Your control panel is organized into four distinct stages to manage your event from start to finish.

Analysis

  • This is the initial pre-event setup phase.
  • Fans cannot see any event cards or visuals at this time.
  • You can interact with the control panel, but any actions taken here (like clicking tiles) are for preparation only and will not be saved or displayed publicly.

Waiting

  • This is your final preparation window before the event begins.
  • Like the Analysis stage, the event is still not visible to participants.
  • This is the time to make final adjustments. You can actively edit content, correct typos, or add and remove tiles to finalize the event details.

Live

  • This is the active event stage. Once you enter this stage, the event is public and underway.
  • Participants can now see the campaign page and the bingo tiles.
  • To moderate, simply follow your event and click the corresponding tile as it occurs.
  • As you select tiles, they will automatically populate the "Past Events" log, which is visible to all participants below their card.

Bingo > Content > Control Panel > Live Mode

Important: Once you go Live, you cannot edit or reset the event content.

Finished

  • This final stage concludes the event.
  • Moving the event to "Finished" archives the campaign and notifies participants that the event is over.
