What are the password requirements for my Tradable Bits account?

Here's a brief overview of password requirements and security best practices for admins and users of a Tradable Bits account.

Tradable Bits User Account Password Requirements:

When first accessing or re-setting account password, please follow the below password requirements:

● Eight (8) or more characters, one upper case, one number
● Systems shall be configured to remember and prohibit reuse of passwords for last 5
passwords used
● Passwords shall be set to lock out after 6 failed attempts
● Initial passwords must be set to a unique value and changed after first log in
● For manual password resets, a user’s identity must be verified prior to changing
passwords

SSO:

We also support single sign-on or SSO to access the Tradable Bits platform which allows you to authenticate via an associated tool so you do not have to maintain multiple different passwords.

Easily log in to your Tradable Bits account through Google, Facebook, Okta or one of our major music and entertainment partners if you have credentials for those organizations.

2FA:

We encourage all partners to enable two-factor authentication or 2FA on their accounts for additional security measures. This will require all account users to not only have an email and password or SSO in use but as well they will have to input an authentication code from a tool such as Authy or Google Authenticator when logging in.

You can configure these under your Account Details> Admins at any time.
